The Dream Unfinished

The Dream Unfinished is an activist orchestra founded in 2015, working with classical music as a platform to engage audiences in dialogues surrounding social and racial justice. It is currently volunteer-run, led by people of colour and employing diverse musicians. Their repertoire includes work that has been overlooked, as well as new commissions from composers of colour. The ambition of the organisation is to address discriminatory practices in classical music and show that music has the potential to be a universal language that embraces people of all backgrounds.
