The Nadesan Centre for Human Rights Through Law (The Nadesan Centre) was formed in 1987 with the aim of strengthening human rights groups and individual activists by providing a specialised library, documentation and information service on national and international human rights and humanitarian law. This grant was awarded to the Nadesan Centre to continue a project of digitisation to preserve and make available rare and valuable documents within its keeping, and for the continuation and strengthening at a basic level of its human rights documentation and library service
