Tree of Life Trust

Registered in 2010 in Zimbabwe, Tree of Life Trust aims to foster a “healed and empowered society that puts its energy into processes of peace, recovery and reconciliation”. Tree of Life focuses on community-based healing and social cohesion and works with survivors of organised violence and torture to address collective trauma, restore agency and re-establish fractured community ties. Tree of Life also supports youth-led, pro-peace community projects and income generation efforts and capacitates young people to conduct Covid-19 awareness and psychosocial support initiatives. Tree of Life has an office in Harare and a regional office in Bulawayo, Matabeleland. The organisation is active in eight out of Zimbabwe’s ten provinces.
