The Zimbabwe Association of Doctors for Human Rights is a membership organization of 136 doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and student health workers throughout Zimbabwe who recognise the role that health professionals play as frontline witnesses of progress in the achievement of the right to health. The Zimbabwe Association of Doctors encourages and equips health professionals in Zimbabwe with the capacity to treat victims of organised violence and torture. It provides specialised trainings for doctors and nurses and acts as a safety net for members and others providing services who may come under threat.
