Kapil Gupta
Senior Programme Officer for Human Rights and Rule of Law
Kapil Gupta is Senior Programme Officer for Human Rights and Rule of Law. Prior to joining SRT, he worked on strategic litigation relating to international human rights law and comparative constitutional law, with a particular focus on equality, dignity, and non-discrimination. He has worked closely with civil society organisations, litigants, and governmental and inter-governmental bodies on issues relating to security, communications, and human rights litigation in the Caribbean, South Asia, East Africa, and West Africa.
Kapil completed his MA in Human Rights Practice from Gothenburg University (Sweden) under the European Commission’s Erasmus Mundus Scholarship programme. He holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the National Law Institute University, Bhopal (India).
