Centro de Derechos Humanos

The Centro de Derechos Humanos, housed at the University of Chile's Law School, is an academic centre supporting Latin American human rights practitioners. The Centre has a particular focus on exclusion and discrimination (particularly gender-based). Through capacity-building, research, and strategic initiatives, the Center provides in-depth training in human rights theory and practice and networking support to groups of professionals in a region where women face special challenges in terms of gender-based discrimination and violence, effective political participation and recognition of sexual and reproductive health rights.
