Act for the Disappeared

Act for the Disappeared was founded in 2010 to contribute to the clarification of the fate of missing persons in Lebanon and to support memorialisation to ensure the violent past of the country is acknowledged and the memory of the war preserved. To address this issue, Act focuses on three programmes: the accompaniment of families of the missing and their psychosocial support, the investigation into the fate and whereabouts of the disappeared of the war and memorialisation through public outreach
