Memoria Abierta

Memoria Abierta, based in Buenos Aires, aims to preserve the historical memory of State repression in Argentina in ways which influence the development of a democratic political culture. By building collections and the organisation of information in various easily accessible formats, the key aim is to make it accessible to the public. It is a founding member of the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience and is its Latin America coordinator. SRT's grant funds core costs.
