Bir Duino Human Rights Movement

The non-profit organisation Bir Duino Kyrgyzstan (BDK) is the successor of the NGO Citizens Against Corruption, which was founded in May 2000. BDK was established for the implementation of civic, political, cultural, economic rights and other socially useful purposes, using monitoring and analysis for the evaluation of human rights in Kyrgyzstan. To achieve the aim of creating an effective monitoring system for the status of human rights, BDK seeks to increase civic participation amongst youth and marginalised populations through existing frameworks laid out by the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic and promote international obligations for human rights and liberty.
