Commonwealth Short Story Prize

The Commonwealth Short Story Prize is part of Commonwealth Writers, the cultural initiative of the Commonwealth Foundation. The Commonwealth Foundation is an intergovernmental organisation founded in 1966 with the aim of developing the capacity of civil society groups in Commonwealth countries. The Short Story Prize is an annual award for unpublished short fiction, which aims to “identify talented writers who go on to inspire their communities, [and] unearth and promote the best new writing from across the Commonwealth, developing literary connections worldwide.”
