Fund For Global Human Rights UK

The Fund for Global Human Rights (FGHR) is a sub-funding network supporting human rights activists and grassroots organisations working on the frontlines of the human rights struggle. fills a critical gap in the charity sector by connecting grassroots human rights defenders to flexible funding, long-term strategic support, and a global network of allies. Since its establishment in 2002, the Fund has awarded over $165 million to more than 1,100 activists and organisations in over 80 countries. The activists it supports have overturned unjust laws, pushed for progressive policies, and challenged entrenched systems of oppression.
