InterJust
Interjust was founded in 2022 and seeks accountability for international crimes, notably by encouraging national prosecuting authorities to open investigations and issue arrest warrants. It submits criminal files in different jurisdictions based on their on-the-ground evidence collection, open-source information research and legal analysis. The majority of Interjust’s casework relates to war crimes in Ukraine but the organisation also supported case-building in other contexts (Sudan and Venezuela). Beyond litigation, Interjust implements global projects aimed at promoting systemic changes to the field of international justice. That includes a global mapping of the universal jurisdiction framework, an initiative to track fugitives and finally, the development of a better system for case management.
