Privacy International

Established in 1990, Privacy International is a London-based charity working to defend and promote the right to privacy across the world. Privacy International is the only international civil society organisation dedicated to upholding the right to privacy. The Trust supported the Big Brother Inc. project, which seeks to investigate and expose the international trade in sophisticated surveillance technologies. The project employs research and investigation, public campaigning, political engagement and strategic litigation to bring to light the abuses of the surveillance industry and ensure that it is properly regulated in future.
