Refugee Cricket Project
The Refugee Cricket Project arranges cricket training year-round and matches in the summer for young refugees who have arrived in the UK as children and are separated from their families. Through the project, the clients have the opportunity to develop their cricket skills and meet friends as well as accessing advice and support on immigration and welfare issues. In addition to year-round cricket, the project provides assistance with playing in mainstream local clubs, arranges a tour outside London in the summer, and delivers over 300 advice and advocacy sessions annually with follow-up support.
