The Latin American Center for Investigative Journalism (CLIP)
The Latin American Center for Investigative Journalism (Centro Latinoamericano de Investigación Periodística, CLIP), founded in 2020 in Costa Rica, coordinates and conducts cross-border investigative journalism across the region. It supports collaborative reporting by offering editorial guidance, security and protection assistance, data analysis, and digital tools, as well as fostering creativity and strengthening the impact and reach of joint investigations. CLIP promotes transparency and accountability through a model of partnership that enables investigative teams to work collectively on issues related to human dignity, the environment and climate change, public integrity, disinformation and technology, and freedom of expression.
