The Law Center of Advocates

The Law Center of Advocates is a non-profit association founded in Moldova in 1997. Their mission is to respect and promote the fundamental rights and freedoms of stateless people, asylum-seekers, refugees and other vulnerable foreign nationals. The organisation was awarded an emergency grant of £75,000 in March 2022 in response to the crisis in Ukraine. The grant will support legal advice and information; legal assistance and counselling with access to documentation, education, and social and medical services; training for smaller local NGOs with capacity to provide legal advice; and addressing hate speech.
