Humanitarian Law Center
The Humanitarian Law Centre (HLC) was founded in 1992 to document human rights violations committed during the armed conflicts in the former Yugoslavia, and to provide legal aid and protection to victims. The Documentation and Memory unit documents war crimes, victims and perpetrators of the conflict in the former Yugoslavia in order to prevent historical revisionism, particularly in relation to the number of victims on all sides. The HLC now concentrates on supporting transitional justice, documenting war crimes, and addressing impunity.
